Woolwich CC AT THE UCI Track Champions League LONDON NOVEMBER 2023

Weekend of 18/19th November, British Cycling provided local young riders with a unique opportunity to have an afternoon of track training on the 2012 Olympic velodrome, guided by Olympic legend Sir Chris Hoy and talent pathway star Flora Perkins!

The youngsters rode alongside Flora, showcasing the success of our talent development pathway, and engaged in Q&A sessions to learn as much as they could from the pros.

Woolwich CC was well-represented with young riders as you will see from the photos below.

Emily Tanner said : “It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride the track as well as meet sir Chris Hoy for a question and answer. The Woolwich had an amazing day and would definitely do it again.”
