Racing Secretary; Nick Elson, Robbie White and George Martin have been racing at Cyclopark. Nick finished 3rd in his event. There are 12 club riders taking part in the De Laune 10 mile time trial on 4-6-16 (Isle of Grain course). The event is the Club's 10 mile t.t. championship event. Jimmy Hayward is the only club member to have entered the Club's road racing designated race event. Megan Panton raced in the North West 3 day event. From 68 starters Megan finished 17th overall. Megan has been competing against riders older than herself. Mat Robertson has been riding in British Cycling para time trials, not finishing outside the top 3 positions, two 3rds and a 2nd. Mat has recently been invited to become involved with the 2016 Olympic squad.
Events: The club is promoting the Summer in the Park series event at Cyclopark on Friday 3-6-16. *The Club is marshalling at the SERRL event on 5-6-16. On Sunday 5-6-16 Terry Blake is holding a coaching session (ladies only) at the Olympic Velodrome. Club track competition 12-6-16 at the Olympic Velodrome. Only one member has pre-entered. If no more names event will have to be cancelled.

Junior Section (Go-Ride). On average 16 members are taking part in the Saturday morning sessions. The Go-Ride section recently held its AGM. An award of £750 has been received from the Jack Petchy foundation. A decision is to be made as to how these funds are to be utilised for the benefit of the junior members. A grant of £1500 has also come from the Jack Petchy foundation. It is proposed that the funds be used to acquire club clothing for the junior members when racing.
Club-Runs: Good attendances are being witnessed on the Sunday runs. Those who attend are forming themselves into comparable groups. The rides are apparently being well received by members and guests.
Sundry:
Club trophies for female members: The club's current stock of trophies is currently being reviewed to ascertain if any are suitable for being awarded to female members in the various race competition categories. If not suitable then consideration is to be given to acquiring appropriate trophies.
Club Kit: Pre ordered jerseys have now been received, shorts and skinsuits within 2 weeks. There is a small supply of jerseys for purchase by members who did not pre-order.
