Events: Martin Messer attended the SERRL AGM. New arrangements have now been put in place for the continuance of the league following Kim Anderson stepping down after many many years of dedicated service to the league. Alan Denham (Cyclo Park) is now the co-ordinator of the league. However, the new organisational arrangement calls for individual clubs to run an event in its entirety, from risk assessment, ensuring the course is roadworks free and providing all the personnel required on the day, around 20 individuals. Our club has offered to assist during a 3-day stage event to be held at cyclopark over the August bank holiday. Club members are to be approached with a view to forming an organisational committee to ensure that we fulfil our requirements and contribute towards keeping the league vibrant. The new league set up is to include dedicated races for 4th category riders, Lady riders and Junior riders.
Go-Ride: The Go-Ride section breaks for the Christmas period on 17-12-16 commencing again in the early new year. Numbers attending continue to hold up around 14/15 per session. The coaches continue to vary the venues for the Saturday sessions. The first session of the month will be held at cyclopark as part of the parks cluster session
