Woolwich Go-Ride is for the young members of the club who want to learn good cycling skills from Level 2 qualified British Cycling coaches.

Date & time : Saturday 25th November, 09:45 - 12 noon
Venue : Footscray Meadows. Meet at the Scout hut just off Rectory Lane. This venue is suitable for off road bikes only. You must have a helmet in good condition - bring a drink and a snack and dress appropriately for the weather.

Sessions are held on a weekly basis, with the last Saturday of the month being held at Foots Cray Meadows, where we have the use of the scout hall for talks, workshops and shelter from the rain if we need it. Our Welfare Officer, Dean, tends to be at these sessions.
Various venues are used throughout the year, and location is sometimes weather-dependent. We hold sessions at Danson Park, Cyclopark, Oxleas Woods, Dartford Heath, Foots Cray Meadows, Bexley Grammar School, and others.
Membership and Fees
Annual membership of the Woolwich Cycling Club is due in September - cost £5.00. Term fees are payable at the start of each school term (September, January, April). Cost is £30 per term.
Riders' progress is monitored through the Woolwich Go-ride (WGR) awards scheme, which encourages the riders to challenge themselves to improve their cycling - and have fun in the process. More details can be found here.
